Boats, Water and Youth!

Coast Guard Auxiliary's Boat's, Water 'n Kids course is a short presentation designed to teach children grades k-6 some basic safety tips around water. It is an interactive, participative program which includes a demonstration on how to put on a PFD (personal flotation device or life preserver) and what to do if someone else is in trouble in the water.
Each child is given a book which can be colored and which to helps to remember what he/she has learned. Of course, material will be taught at a level appropriate to the age of the class.
What a good idea for a birthday party! Not only is this fun for the children, it also teaches some very needed information for survival around water!
Call one of the Auxiliarists listed in the schedules to arrange for a presentation.
